UnSnooz legal
Privacy policy
This policy explains how Arkangl, Inc. ("Arkangl," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal data for the UnSnooz iPhone app and its account service.
Data we collect
When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive and store the provider account identifier needed to recognize your account. Depending on what the provider shares, we may also receive your email address, verification status, name, and profile image URL.
UnSnooz also stores account and session records, along with device and app metadata sent during sign-in. This metadata can include an app installation identifier, device name and model, iOS version, app version and build, locale, time zone, and push-notification token and environment when available.
We store UnSnooz refresh tokens as cryptographic hashes. For Apple sign-in, we store the Apple refresh token in encrypted form so we can validate or revoke Apple access when required.
How we use Apple and Google data
We use data received from Apple and Google only to authenticate you, maintain your UnSnooz account and sessions, prevent or investigate token abuse, support account deletion and provider revocation, and resolve account-security problems. We do not use this data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or unrelated analytics.
UnSnooz's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Sharing and sales
When you use Contact Us in UnSnooz, we store the category, subject, message, optional reply email, and app version and build in our support inbox. Sign-in is not required. We use these submissions to respond to you and investigate the issue you report. Support submissions are stored separately from sign-in records; contact the support email below for help with a submission or its deletion.
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertising networks. Service providers may process limited data on our behalf only to host, secure, and operate UnSnooz. We may disclose data if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect UnSnooz, our users, or others.
Security and retention
We use safeguards designed for the data we handle, including encrypted connections, hashed UnSnooz refresh tokens, and encryption for stored Apple refresh tokens. No system can guarantee absolute security.
We keep account, identity, device, and session records while your account is active or as reasonably needed to operate and secure the service. Deleting your account removes those records from our active database. Limited information may remain temporarily in operational logs or backups until they are rotated or deleted.
Delete your account
You can delete your account in UnSnooz by opening Profile and selecting Delete Account. This removes your UnSnooz account and active server-side account records. If a provider cannot be disconnected automatically, the app explains the remaining Apple or Google step.
You can also email asadbekdev@gmail.com for privacy or account-deletion help.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change, we will update this page and its effective date before the new practices apply when required.
